Papillon Gardens

The gardens are spread out over several acres with a large bed of perennials  and specimen trees adjoining one section of the railroad. My wife, Jan, was responsible for designing and planting all the beds to make her dream come true. Jan chose the name Papillon for hear love of butterflies, as demonstrated by numerous and varied butterfly bush plantings, and our four beloved dogs of the Papillon breed.

There are over fifty varieties of trees planted throughout the property and railroad for Jan’s love of trees. Each variety has at least two or three specimens. Additionally, she has planted at least four varieties of bamboo which thrive in northeast Ohio and hostas, to numerous to mention.

These photos will provide a sampling of the above.
